Alyssa A. Vanstone is the founder of Vanstone Law Firm. She founded Vanstone Law Firm to focus on representing homeowners who are facing foreclosure. Prior to founding her firm, she spent several years in private practice representing clients in family law matters and civil litigation matters including mortgage foreclosure defense and other real property disputes. Alyssa began her career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Office of the State Attorney, Sixth Judicial Circuit where she gained valuable trial and negotiation experience as a criminal prosecutor and then as a lead trial attorney in the Child Welfare Legal Services division, representing the interests of the Department of Children and Families.
Alyssa is originally from the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area where she graduated with honors from Hamline University with a B.A. in History and Anthropology. After graduation in 1999, Alyssa relocated to Florida. She graduated with honors from Stetson University College of Law in December 2002 and became a member of the Florida Bar in April 2003. Alyssa also holds an M.A. in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida.
